The Vice President of The Gambia visits the CREN of Basse

Today, Monday July 22, 2024, at CREN of Basse we had the visit of the Vice President of the Government of The Gambia, Mr. Muhammed BS Jallow, together with the Director of the National Nutrition Agency (NaNa) Mr. Malang Fofana, who were able to learn about the important work carried out by Nutrition Without Borders together with the Ministry of Health and NaNa to reduce child malnutrition.

During the 15 years of CREN's existence, thousands of children under the age of 5 have been able to overcome malnutrition by being admitted to the center.

We very much appreciate the Vice President's visit and his support, as it is a recognition of the prevention and treatment work done by the local health personnel.
